Iron Man flies into theatres officially tonight, but that hasn't stopped Hollywood from considering when we might see the sequel. Brad Grey, CEO for Paramount Pictures, told Entertainment Tonight that, if the film does as well as is expected, they're already looking to release the follow-up in 2010.

Iron Man director Jon Favreau has already talked about possibilities for the sequel, which include seeing Jim Rhodes (Terrence Howard) become the superhero War Machine, and the exploration of Tony Stark's (Robert Downey, Jr.) alcoholism. Additionally, as suggested by a sequence which follows the closing credits, Marvel and Paramount are already looking to the future to create an Avengers film, using the casts from both Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and Shaun Toub and directed by Jon Favreau, Iron Man opens everywhere May 2, 2008.
