Danny Boyle, of course, directed the original 28 Days Later, which followed a group of people trying to survive after the "rage virus" spread across the world, turning most of the Earth's population into zombie-like creatures. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo directed the sequel, 28 Weeks Later, and now Dread Central reports that Danny Boyle may return for this proposed third installment. Here's an excerpt from the site:
"Dread Central has learned exclusively that the director of the original film, Danny Boyle, is planning to return to direct the as of yet untitled third film in the franchise. Details are scant at the moment, but we're working to get some more for you."
