Jake Kasdan will direct the Jason Segel comedy Sex Tape
Bad Teacher director Jake Kasdan has signed on for the Sony Pictures comedy Sex Tape. Nick Stoller was previously attached to direct, before bowing out due to scheduling conflicts.

The story centers on a married couple, who decide to spice up their love life by making a sex tape. However, they discover the next morning that the tape has gone missing, and go on a mad dash to recover it. We reported back in October that offers were out to Jason Segel and Reese Witherspoon to play the married parents. This new report reveals that Jason Segel is attached to star, although Reese Witherspoon isn't mentioned. Jason Segel starred in Jake Kasdan's Bad Teacher, which took in $216 million worldwide last summer.

Jake Kasdan will direct Sex Tape from a screenplay by Kate Angelo (The Back-Up Plan). Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal, and Steve Tisch are producing for Escape Artists. The project is said to be a high priority at Sony, although it isn't known when production may begin.
