It seems that an untitled cancer comedy has swapped out one star for another. MTV Movies Blog is reporting that James McAvoy has dropped out of the Untitled Seth Rogen Comey and has been replaced by Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

The site reports that McAvoy left the film, which had already been shooting for a month in Vancouver, for personal reasons. The site also posted a statement from the film's star and producer, Seth Rogen.

"It's incredibly unfortunate that circumstances outside of everyone's control have taken James away from the project, but, with James's blessing, we were able to have Joseph step in to take on the [lead] role of Adam. We all look forward to working with James in the future."

It was also reported that production has temporarily been shut down with production set to resume on March 8.
