" We reported a few weeks ago that Columbia Pictures was narrowing down its list of contenders to play Peter Parker in a new superhero reboot and, according to a new story, they have made their final choice. Bleeding Cool is reporting that Jamie Bell has been set to star in the new Untitled Spider-Man Reboot.
Bell was one of the five actors mentioned in our earlier report, but if this new story ends up being true, it seems he has beat out the other contenders Alden Ehrenreich, Frank Dillane, Andrew Garfield and Josh Hutcherson. The site reported that they have, "received repeated reports" that Bell had been chosen to play Peter Parker.
The report hasn't been confirmed by the studio as of yet, but we'll be sure to keep you posted on any new updates regarding this breaking story as soon as we have more information.
