This Saturday, July 16, 2005 the Los Angeles Free Clinic will host the 8th annual "Extravaganza of the Senses" wine and food charity fundraiser at the 20th Century Fox Studios (10201 West Pico, West Los Angeles 90035). Guests will sample food and wine from more than 100 wineries and 40 Los Angeles area restaurants.

This year, actor Jason Bateman ("Arrested Development") will serve as the honorary chair of the event. The event is one of the largest wine and food tastings in Los Angeles. More than 2,000 people enjoy wine, cocktails, beer and food from over 120 participating wineries and 50 of the best restaurants in the city!

More than 200 items have been donated for the silent auction, including these entertainment related items: A walk-on role in the hit television show “King of Queens”, an audition to become an E! News correspondent, a special Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince package (coinciding with the book’s release the same day!), a “Family Guy” table read, an autographed Tommy Lee drumsticks.

General Admission (7PM-10PM) tickets at $90 each. Includes parking and samplings of a wide array of food and wines. Tarot readers, psychics and henna tattoo artists will also be available.

VIP Admission (6PM-10PM) tickets at $200. VIP tickets includes early VIP entry at 6pm, VIP parking, seating, The VIP area includes a private bar, a VIP tarot reader, an espresso/cappuccino bar and several restaurants serving solely to the VIP section.

The Extravaganza for the Senses is one of The Los Angeles Free Clinic’s largest annual fundraisers. The event generated more than $200,000 last year for the Clinic’s vital services. The Clinic believes that health care is a right, not a privilege.
