After playing a disgruntled employee who hires an assassin in the New Line comedy Horrible Bosses, Jason Sudeikis has signed on to play a hitman himself in Relativity Media's Untitled Heist Comedy, which was formerly known as Loomis Fargo.
Owen Wilson, Zach Galifianakis and Kristen Wiig are attached to star in the comedy, based on the true story of four Southerners who managed to pull off a $20 million heist. Zach Galifianakis stars as a disgruntled armored truck driver, who teams up with his workplace crush (Kristen Wiig) and her crew to rob the bank's vault. After they double-cross the driver in Mexico, he becomes hell-bent on getting his revenge. No further details were given for Jason Sudeikis' hitman character.
Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) is directing from a screenplay by Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer, which was reworked from the original draft by Up All Night creator Emily Spivey. Lorne Michaels and John Goldwyn are producing through their Michaels-Goldwyn company, with Danny McBride, Jody Hill, Kevin J. Messick, Erin David, Ryan Kavanaugh and Tucker Tooley serving as executive producers.
Jason Sudeikis recently starred in the comedy hit We're the Millers, and he will next be seen in Tumbledown, Sleeping with Other People and Horrible Bosses 2.
