Comedian Jeff Foxworthy will make his live-action feature debut with the sports comedy Crackerjack, which he is also executive producing.

Wes Murphy stars as the title character, an irresponsible young man with serious abandomnent issues, who tries to balance his relationship with his girlfriend while leading his church softball team to victory. Jeff Foxworthy will play a supporting role as the announcer for the Church League softball games.

Bryan Coley is writing and directing the comedy. Darren Moorman, Mil Cannon, and Matthew Pope are producing.

Production started today in Savannah, Georgia. Bryan Coley is also a theater director, and used several local actors to round out the cast.

Jeff Foxworthy's only other movie performances were voiced roles in Racing Stripes, The Fox and the Hound 2, and the upcoming live-action/CGI hybrid The Smurfs, where he voices Handy Smurf.
