We reported last month that a comedic remake has found its female lead and it seems two new actors are circling the film as well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Garner and Nick Nolte are in talks to join the cast of Arthur.

If they joined the film, Garner would play the heiress with a secretive past whom Russell Brand's title character is set to marry and Nolte would play her devoutly religious father. They would join the cast that includes Brand, Helen Mirren as Arthur's personal valet and Greta Gerwig as the working-class girl that Arthur falls for and considers risking his inheritance to be with.

Modern Family creator Jason Winer is directing the film from a script by Peter Baynham. No production schedule for the film has been released as of yet.
