Sonic: According to Variety, Jessica Alba will get $3 million to star in and produce the Regency Enterprises futuristic drama Sonic, penned by tyro scribe Kirsten Elms.

Alba and her Thruline Entertainment manager Chris Henze have been developing the project with producers John Davis and Wyck Godfrey after reading it as a writing sample for another project earlier this year.
