Stephen King wrote the screenplay adaptation himself, based on his 2010 novella. The story centers on a woman named Darcy (Joan Allen), whose life is rocked when she discovers the disturbing double life her husband has been living for 25 years. She must then decide whether or not to keep maintaining the relationship with her shady spouse.
Peter Askin will also produce with his Reno Productions partner Will Battersby. The project will be funded through independent financing, with Paradigm handing the domestic rights and Atlas International representing the project for foreign sales.
Production is scheduled to begin next month in New York City.
