Joel Edgerton Joins ‘Life’ Starring Robert Pattinson

With production already under way in Ontario, Canada, Joel Edgerton has joined the cast of Life for FilmNation and director Anton Corbijn.

The story centers on freelance photographer Dennis Stock (Robert Pattinson), who was commissioned by Life Magazine to photograph movie star James Dean (Dane DeHaan) on a journey from Los Angeles to New York, chronicling their growing friendship along the way. Joel Edgerton is portraying Magnum Photography editor John Morris, who brokered the deal with Life Magazine for the photos. Ben Kingsley and Alessandra Mastronardi also star in this drama based on a true story.

Anton Corbijn is directing from a screenplay by Luke Davies (Candy), with See-Saw Films' Iain Canning and Emile Sherman producing alongside First Generation Films' Christina Piovesan.

Joel Edgerton recently wrapped shooting on Exodus and Midnight Special, and he starts shooting Black Mass in the near future.

Life comes to theaters December 4th, 2015.

I'm surprised how Pattinson has been able to succeed far past Twilight. I mean just look at how Taylor Lautner's career has gone up in smoke. Just shows that Pattinson actually has talent.

Really enjoy Corbijn's work. Edgerton makes another fine addition to this otherwise excellent cast.
