Kim Kardashian the front runner for a role in the Untitled <strong><em>Gotti</em></strong> Project
Kim Kardashian may be making the move to the big screen. She is a front runner for a role in the Untitled Gotti Project. The reality star is in contention to play Kim Gotti, the daughter-in-law of mafia boss John Gotti.

We reported at the end of January that John Travolta is in talks to portray John Gotti. It seems he is now attached to the project. Kim Kardashian has reportedly met with producers, who are interested in casting the reality TV star, although no deals have been signed yet.

Nick Cassavetes will direct the Untitled Gotti Project from a script by Leo Rossi. Production is said to start sometime this summer.

Our report from January also indicated that James Franco is circling the role of John Gotti Jr. The actor's rep revealed he had been sent the script, although it isn't clear if James Franco has been offered the role.

The story will take place over three generations of the Gotti crime family. The Gotti family has signed deals to consult on the project.
