Wild Child: According to Variety, helmer Jon Sherman is in final negotiations to direct Wild Child for Working Title Films.

The picture, penned by Lucy Dahl, is a teen comedy about a Malibu wild child sent to a British boarding school to curb her wayward ways.

Dahl is the daughter of author Roald Dahl. She sold the spec to Working Title last summer.

"Child" is expected to start shooting early next year in London and Los Angeles.
