According to The Hollywood Reporter, National Treasure director Jon Turteltaub is venturing into television with a three-for-one deal at CBS. Under the pact, Turteltaub is developing three scripts, all set up at Paramount Network Television, one of which is guaranteed to go to pilot. Turteltaub, who is involved in the development of the projects, will executive produce through his Junction Prods. and direct the pilot.

The projects under the deal include two dramas: Suspect Behavior, a crime show from Clubhouse creator Daniel Cerone, who has an overall deal at Paramount TV; and Jericho, a high-concept soap from Stephen Chbosky, writer of Chris Columbus' feature adaptation of the musical Rent.
