Megan Fox and Jon Voight have agreed to star in the much anticipated live action film, Transformers for DreamWorks/Paramount.

Shia LaBeouf and Travis Van Winkle have already jumped on board the film based on the 1980's Hasbro toy line of giant robots that morph into cars, trucks, planes and ships. The Hollywood Reporter says Fox will play Mikaela, the female lead and love interest of LaBeouf's character.

Variety mentioned a source close to the production said Josh Duhamel, Bernie Mac, John Turturro, and John Robinson are expected to round out the cast. The Michael Bay-helmed film is being produced by Angry Films' Don Murphy, Tom DeSanto and Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Steven Spielberg is executive producing.

Production on Transformers is set to begin this month; a 2007 release has been scheduled.
