According to Variety, Josh Meyers joins the long-running Carsey-Werner laffer, "That 70's Show" this fall to help fill the void left by departing star Topher Grace and reduced appearances by Ashton Kutcher. He'll play Randy Pearson, a college student who's hired by Hyde (Danny Masterson) to work at his record store.

The actor-scribe spent two years on Fox's "Mad TV," where he parodied Matthew McConaughey and Owen Wilson, among others. More recently, he starred in the Fox pilot "Peep Show," produced by Carsey-Werner.

"Peep Show" wasn't picked up to series, but Carsey-Werner immediately put Meyers in "That '70s Show."
