Willie Nelson Western and Alone: According to The Hollywood Reporter, writer Josh Olson is getting more of a history lesson at New Line, inking a two-picture deal with the studio. New Line signed the writer off his work on the studio's A History of Violence, which is filming under the direction of David Cronenberg in Toronto.

Olson will first come on board an untitled Willie Nelson Western, which Steven Bing is producing. Details are being kept under wraps, but it's described as a twist on the classic Western revenge story to which Nelson is attached as star.

Olson will then segue into Alone, the tale of an agoraphobic high schooler who, after learning that her house is haunted, must either overcome her phobia or die.
