The sci-fi action film Jumper, starring Hayden Christensen as a teleporter and Samuel L. Jackson as the man hunting him down, was a modest hit when it arrived in February of 2008. The film has gone onto garner a strong fan base through DVD and cable. A sequel had been considered from the moment of its release, but now Hayden Christensen says that talks to bring the franchise back to theaters is in full swing.

In a recent interview with MTV, the actor explained that a sequel is being actively discussed. Here is what he had to say:

"We're talking about it right now actually. Hopefully (it will go) somewhere a little darker. I think there's a lot you can do with it. It was sort of set up in a way...It's gonna be mother hunting son and possibly even maybe sister hunting brother. We're talking about it, trying to figure it out."

It is not known at this time if Samuel L. Jackson would also reprise his role in the Untitled Jumper Sequel. To see the full video interview with Hayden Christensen, check out the story on MTV.
