Three brief clips have been released from the upcoming sci-fi thriller Jupiter Ascending, which offers a theory on how one of the biggest mysteries on earth came to be. The first clip features Channing Tatum as Caine, an intergalactic bounty hunter who finds himself on Earth, running through a cornfield to catch his ride, a massive space ship which is about to take off. Before the ship ascends into the sky and enters a wormhole, it leaves behind a set of crop circles. The second clip teases that other aliens and mysterious creatures may be hiding within your average, every day cornfield, as a group of Caine's colleagues, including Doona Bae, scours the area, while the third shows Caine's ship entering an intergalactic refinery.

From the streets of Chicago to the far-flung galaxies whirling through space, Jupiter Ascending tells the story of Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis), who was born under a night sky, with signs predicting she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along-her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski direct this sci-fi thriller from their own original script. Douglas Booth, Sean Bean, Vanessa Kirby, Terry Gilliam, James D'Arcy, Tuppence Middleton, Gugu Mbatha-Raw and new Oscar nominee Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything) round out the cast. Check out these new scenes before Jupiter Ascending hits theaters February 6.
