‘Jurassic Park 4’ Shooting at Universal?

A "Daily Shooting Schedule" production board suggests the fourth ‘Jurassic Park’ is filming on the Universal Studios lot. Is the studio trying to keep this under wraps?
BY |

A mysterious scooper has sent photos of what appears to be the "Daily Shooting Schedule" production board on the Universal Studios lot suggesting that Jurassic Park IV is set up for production on stages "7, 10, 12, 14".

The scooper sent this message along with the photo:

"Taken on the Universal backlot earlier today. Seems it's all over their backlot. My guess would be pre-lim shoots testing either actors, CGI or animatronics."

When we asked Universal Pictures about the photo, they denied production on Jurassic Park IV and said that they "have no idea why that is on there."

Is the studio really trying to keep this under wraps? Or is this a simple joke by a staffer at Universal? Only time will tell.

Jurassic World was released June 12th, 2015.

It is this kind of movie that The Mime won't have problem with if they decide to go with 3D....but still IMAX is always a way to go on these big stuff......The Mime really hopes they make it and hopes, also, that it will turn out great......Decide to reboot JP and that will just kill it for me.

        me too

Jurassic Park is a prime example of good old-school filmmaking with heartfelt storytelling

I hope Speilberg has a more active position this time than on JPIII

If you think part 2 was worse that 3, you have no idea what you are talking about.

This is obviously a joke. Jurassic Park 4 could not be kept under wraps that tightly

@knobie09, in all actuality, Desperate Housewives is shot on the Universal Lot...They utilize the same housing tract used in the Tom Hanks Movie "The Burbs"...Any Yahoo can go on their tour and find this out...

I can buy chalk too. Then again, I wouldn't have used "Jurassic Park 4" as my joke. Maybe it's true... Hmm...

there's no way this is real.

if the studio were trying to keep it under wraps do you think they'd be stupid enough to put "Jurassic Park 4" on the schedule. RARELY do major productions use the film's real name or mention the actors (when Nolan was shooting TDK in Chicago, PA's were told to tell curious onlookers the move was called "Rory's First Kiss" and they named a bunch of fake names. Those who knew what ws going on got to see some pretty sweet scenes). if this were real and they wanted to keep it quite, it'd have a different name - even on the lot.

I just wish Spielberg was doing it. The first two were the only ones I really liked.
