Chris Pratt's Owen Grady puts his raptor-whispering skills to the ultimate test to save a co-worker's life in a new clip from Jurassic World. We've seen a brief part of this footage in the previously-released trailers, but now we have the full scene, where a worker tries to feed a live pig to the raptors, only to be pulled into their cage, defenseless and unarmed. Without a second to lose, Owen rushes in to calm the raptors down, because, if the armed guards above shoot them down, these dinosaurs will never trust them again.

We've also seen Owen riding his motorcycle with his raptor buddies running alongside him, which is presumably after this scene, so it seems his soothing techniques paid off. Jurassic World is set twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, as fans are taken back to Isla Nublar, which now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. After 10 years of operation and visitor rates declining, in order to fulfill a corporate mandate, a new attraction is created to re-spark visitor's interest, which backfires horribly.

Executive produced by original Jurassic Park director Steven Spielberg, Jurassic World also stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Judy Greer, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Katie McGrath, Lauren Lapkus, Nick Robinson, Ty Simpkins, B.D. Wong and Omar Sy, who is also featured in this new clip. Early box office tracking is predicting that director Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World could make more than $100 million in its opening weekend, when it arrives in theaters June 12. Could this sequel could be a bigger hit than the original? Check out this clip, and chime in with your thoughts below.
