Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt is going from saving the universe alongside a talking raccoon and a sentient tree to saving a park full of tourists with the help of his own trained pack of roving raptors in Jurassic World. While we saw the actor riding his motorcycle through the jungle at night with these domesticated dinosaurs at his side in the first teaser trailer, we now get an official photo to commemorate the moment.

Jurassic World is featured in this week's issue of Entertainement Weekly. The magazine is previewing 2015's upcoming slate of new TV series and movies. Part of their coverage finds director Colin Trevorrow revealing a few facts about the new dinosaur that was teased in the sneak peek footage. Built from the DNA of a number of different animal species, this monstrosity dubbed D-Rex is not actually a dinosaur at all, claims Trevorrow:

"There are dinosaurs and there's the other...There's this thing that is not one of them, that is not of them. There's a lot of bold new ideas in the movie and I'm pushing it as far forward as I can. I know Steven didn't want me to make a carbon copy of the earlier films. So we're going for it."

The newly released photo, which shows Chris Pratt's dinosaur trainer Owen working with the Velociraptors, hints that these vicious creatures may actually be able to tell the difference between the real dinosaurs and the D-Rex. Does this mean we'll eventually get an epic showdown between the D and the T-Rex when all else fails to stop the mutated beast? We may find out the answer as soon as the full trailer drops, which is expected to be sometime before spring. In the meantime, enjoy this moment from the movie that has fans torn: Is it cool or is it just plain dumb?
