Though Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is still fresh in everyone's mind, and not necessarily in a good way for some, DC Comics and Warner Bros. are trudging forward with their DC Extended Universe. Fans seem genuinely excited about Suicide Squad, in theaters this August. And we also have Wonder Woman to look forward to next summer. But the biggest movie yet will no doubt be Justice League, which arrives November 2017. And while we have a while to wait, the studio is not wasting anytime trying to prove to fans that it will be one massive superhero ensemble that is worth the wait. Today, we get our first official look at the film with a logo and Batman's new upgraded Batmobile. We also get the official synopsis, which hints at a rejuvenated Bruce Wayne.

"Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions."

And that sounds exactly like what we were expected. The official plot synopsis positions the fact that Superman is still dead. And it sounds like he'll remain dead for the first act at least, while Bruce Wayne and Diana Prince do all the heavy lifting in getting the gang together. The synopsis doesn't mention the villain by name. While many believe that it will be Doomsday, other recent rumors point to Steppenwolf being the big bad this time out, with Doomsday to arrive possibly in Justice League 2.

Justice League brings back a lot of the Batman V Superman cast, including Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, and Ezra Miller as The Flash. There have been recent rumors that Amber Heard is on the verge of being fired from the movie, though she is still listed as Queen Mera. J.K. Simmons was recently seen getting buff for his role as Commissioner Gordon. Willem Dafoe is playing Vulko, an Atlantean that is Aquaman's mentor. Though Clark Kent is presumably dead, Henry Cavill has been spotted on set, so we have a sneaking suspicion that Superman's demise won't last as long as anyone thinks.

A number of websites recently visited the set of the movie, and have arrived back from London with a few important details about the movie. It has been confirmed that this first ensemble installment is no longer Part One as originally intended. And director Zack Snyder promises a much lighter tone than Dawn of Justice. While a great deal of the plot revolves around the formation of the Justice League, the team will also be in pursuit of the three Mother Boxes that have landed on earth. These boxes have been sitting, waiting for the arrival of Steppenwolf, with the Amazonians and Atlanteans having each found one. It isn't yet known what purpose they will serve.

While the first official image from the movie shows off the upgraded Batmobile, Batman is also getting a new vehicle that has been dubbed 'The Flying Fox'. He'll be able to carry some of his Justice League team members in it. There is also a tank-like vehicle that will be on display called 'The Nightcrawler'. Batman himself is getting an Armor upgrade, but it will rest under his more traditional Batsuit. The Flash will be showing up with a handmade costume he's sewn together with pieces of stolen tech. This includes heating tiles taken off a space shuttle. Cyborg will arrive on the screen as a 100% CGI creation. And Wonder Woman will show up almost exactly as she was seen in Dawn of Justice. You can take a look at the new Batmobile and logos here. There will be more new information about Justice League from DC Comics as the day continues, so stay tuned.
