Nearly six months after filming began at Leavesden Studios, Justice League has wrapped the U.K. portion of their shoot. Director Zack Snyder took to social media today to commemorate their last day of U.K. filming with a special video that includes plenty of new behind-the-scenes footage. This video features all of the Justice League members, including some candid shots between takes, with Zack Snyder thanking his cast and crew and the U.K. for an amazing experience.

The video, which was posted on Twitter, opens with the shot of Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) confronting Aquaman (Jason Momoa) as seen in the first trailer, along with behind-the-scenes views from that same shot. We also get plenty of shots between takes with Justice League members Ezra Miller as The Flash, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Henry Cavill is also seen on set as Superman, and if you look close you may even get a glimpse of his new Black Superman costume. While Superman was killed at the end of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the final shot of that movie teased that the Man of Steel is still alive, and here he is confirmed to return.

This sneak peek even features a shot that could be used in a future gag reel, with Aquaman twirling his large trident as he prepares for battle alongside Wonder Woman and The Flash. When Aquaman drops the trident, he proceeds to take Wonder Woman's sword and forge ahead into battle, as Gal Gadot tries to contain her laughter. We also see a shot of what appears to be the entire cast and crew at the very end, who are seen sitting in bleachers, which feature a number of "GCU" logos for Gotham City University. We first saw the GCU football stadium in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and we've also seen shots of Ray Fisher wearing a GCU letterman's jacket, so it's possible we could see another GCU football game in Justice League.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

While filming is coming to an end in the U.K., Justice League hasn't fully wrapped yet. We reported earlier this week that the cast and crew held their wrap party last weekend, and that production is set to move to Iceland. That report revealed that filming will take place in the Westfjords of Iceland in either October or November, but an exact date wasn't given. It was also revealed that well-known Icelandic actors such as Ingvar E. Sigurðsson, Kristbjörg Kjeld, Ágústa Eva Erlendsdóttir and Salóme Gunnarsdóttir will have unknown roles in this superhero movie. Take a look at this new behind-the-scenes video from the Justice League set.
