Justice League Wraps as Batman & Aquaman Share Beers
That's a wrap on Justice League. For the most part. Just as the month of October was kicking off, Jason Momoa announced that Justice League had wrapped in the U.K. Though he couldn't attend that night's wrap party, as he had to prepare for a trip to Iceland, where production would continue under the watchful eye of Zack Snyder. Now, the actor behind iconic DC superhero Aquaman is back on Instargram. He shares a few candid snapshots, confirming that Justice League has wrapped.
"My man. The batman love ya bud @benaffleck we did it that's a wrap Mahalo @guinness @highlandparkofficial for taking care of aquaman and the JL crew. Odin my favorite Mad crazy love for Gal Ezra Ray Henry and Ben It's been an honor JL wrap."
The first two images show Ben Affleck and Jason Momoa, otherwise known as Batman and Aquaman, sharing an ice cold Guinness in Iceland. Jason Momoa is also seen sharing a few drinks with his director Zack Snyder, who literally looks like he has aged a decade since the start of shooting. About his director, Jason Momoa says this.
"This man changed my life. I love you zack Mahalo for believing in me. It's Odin and Mano time. Love u guys Mahalo for all your hardwork."
The official Justice League wrap party happened earlier this month in the U.K., when most of the cast and crew were present. Ben Affleck had been away, promoting his latest thriller The Accountant in theaters this weekend. Over the past few days, Ben Affleck and Jason Momoa shot their final Justice League scenes as Batman and Aquaman. It is believed that Zack Snyder also snapped the first look image of Amber Heard as Queen Mera in Iceland, and that the actress was present for this final leg of the production.
Joining Ben Affleck and Jason Momoa in Justice League are Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon. In the movie, Batman assembles a group of Meta-Humans to protect the world in the aftermath of Doomsday killing off Superman. But Kal-El will return! Justice League hits theaters November 17. The party, though? It looks like that is happening tonight. Take a look.
