Katherine Heigl has signed on to star in and produce The Follower for Millennium Films.

No story details were given, except the project is a thriller. Tony Giglio (Death Race 3) wrote the spec screenplay. Katherine Heigl will produce through her Abishag Productions company, along with her mother and producing partner Nancy Heigl.

Katherine Heigl executive produced The Ugly Truth, Life as We Know It, and the upcoming comedy One for the Money, which she also stars in.
