When we reported in May that Kelsey Grammer signed on to play villain Harold Attinger in Transformers: Age of Extinction, little was revealed about the character, except that he is a counter-intelligence agent.

The actor recently revealed more details about the role in an interview with Empire, where he describes Harold Attinger as "malevolent."

"He's a no-nonsense guy. He's lived his life in the shadows for 30 years in the service of his country, and he likes to be unremarkable yet very efficient."

When asked about working with director Michael Bay, the actor had this to say.

"I don't know if Michael has seen Frasier. He's been very respectful and funny. He's a terrific guy and quite a filmmaker. He just said to me the other day, 'You're Kelsey Grammer - you can do whatever you want to do.' So I guess he at least has some acquaintance with my work."

Transformers: Age of Extinction is currently shooting in Chicago, with a June 27, 2014 release date set by Paramount Pictures.
