Kevin Costner joins Mike Binder's Black and WhiteKevin Costner will reunite with The Upside of Anger director Mike Binder for Black and White.

The actor is starring as a grandfather who lost his wife in a car accident, and then lost his daughter during the birth of his granddaughter. Since then, he has been raising his bi-racial grandaughter on his own. He becomes locked in a custody battle with the child's paternal grandmother, where race becomes a hot-button issue.

Mike Binder is directing from his own original screenplay, while also producing alongside Kevin Costner and Todd Lewis. Production is scheduled to begin this summer in New Orleans.
