In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, it seems that Kevin Hart has joined cast of Screen Gems and Sidney Kimmel Entertainment's remake of Death at a Funeral.

The project is being directed by Neil LaBute.

The film looks at a family who gets together for a patriarch's funeral. It showcases what happens when a man appears and threatens to expose who the fatherly figure really was.

Also in the cast of this comedy are Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan, Martin Lawrence, Zoe Saldana among others.

Kevin Hart will play the character of "Brian the Undertaker."

Death at a Funeral was released April 16th, 2010.

it's a stupid idea to remake this movie. especially so shortly after it was released. it isn't surprising though, this happens all the time. the screenplay is being done by chris rock and aeysha carr so it is just another unfunny Chris Rock Movie. there is one up side to it though, at least tyler perry isn't involved.
