According to The Hollywood Reporter, former Universal production chief-turned-feature producer Kevin Misher is venturing into television with a first-look deal at Touchstone Television. Under the one-year pact, the studio will have first crack at Misher's TV development, and Misher will serve as a nonwriting executive producer on the projects he shepherds. As part of the deal, Misher is working on a comedy that has been set up at ABC.

The untitled show, from writers Chris Pappas and Mike Bernier, revolves around two male best friends, one of whom is getting married and the other getting divorced. Veteran TV director Gil Junger is on board to direct.
