Ted Field from Radar Films, has announced that Jean-Claude Van Damme (JCVD) joined the Kickboxer cast. He will be taking over the role of Master Chow, replacing Tony Jaa. The film is being produced by Ted Field of Radar Films, Dimitri Logothetis and Nick Celozzi. Mike Weber and Peter Meyer will executive produce.

The Exchange is selling Kickboxer worldwide. The remake of the 1989 cult classic, Kickboxer started production this week. The film is shooting in New Orleans, Louisiana and Thailand. The high-octane remake of the world famous Kickboxer stars WWE superstar Dave Bautista (Drax in Guardians of the Galaxy), former UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre (Captain America: The Winter Solider), and introduces Alain Moussi (X-Men: Dats of Future Past) to lead this franchise back into action.
