Last month, we reported that Universal Pictures is moving forward on Snow White and the Huntsman 2, with Kristen Stewart returning to star. Today, the actress confirmed she has signed on in an uncharacteristically outspoken interview.

""Oh, it's gonna be f---ing amazing. No, I'm so excited about it, it's crazy. I'm not allowed [to talk about it]. The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we're going to make a sequel, and that's very true, but everyone was like, 'Whoa, stop talking about it.' So no, I'm totally not allowed to talk about it."

Our report from November also revealed that Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders will not be back at the helm, which makes sense since the actress and filmmaker were embroiled in a cheating scandal that made worldwide headlines. Back in August, the studio was going in another direction, reportedly "firing" Kristen Stewart and moving ahead with Rupert Sanders directing.

David Koepp wrote the screenplay for this follow-up. Shooting is tentatively scheduled to begin next year, but that will likely hinge on whether the studio can find a director by then. Snow White and the Huntsman earned $155 million at the domestic box office, taking in just under $400 million worldwide.
