Kristen Stewart Confirmed for ‘Snow White and the Huntsman 2’

Kristen Stewart confirmed to star in Snow White and the Huntsman 2Last month, we reported that Universal Pictures is moving forward on Snow White and the Huntsman 2, with Kristen Stewart returning to star. Today, the actress confirmed she has signed on in an uncharacteristically outspoken interview.

""Oh, it's gonna be f---ing amazing. No, I'm so excited about it, it's crazy. I'm not allowed [to talk about it]. The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we're going to make a sequel, and that's very true, but everyone was like, 'Whoa, stop talking about it.' So no, I'm totally not allowed to talk about it."

Our report from November also revealed that Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders will not be back at the helm, which makes sense since the actress and filmmaker were embroiled in a cheating scandal that made worldwide headlines. Back in August, the studio was going in another direction, reportedly "firing" Kristen Stewart and moving ahead with Rupert Sanders directing.

David Koepp wrote the screenplay for this follow-up. Shooting is tentatively scheduled to begin next year, but that will likely hinge on whether the studio can find a director by then. Snow White and the Huntsman earned $155 million at the domestic box office, taking in just under $400 million worldwide.

The Huntsman comes to theaters April 22nd, 2016.

I couldnt agree more. the new director's gotta have a vision. I think peter jackson would knock it out of the ballpark. wasnt he the guy who directed "The lovely Bones"? that1 to my mind, was a masterpiece. and still is, So somebody with a vision like that, not to mention, "story" should be on board, Not just for this movie but others as well too, like transformers, star wars, ect.

@jasonkat@bawnian-dexeus yes. kristen stewart was the reason people saw the movie, but the direction was what gave the movie some box office legs and be successful. visually, i thought the movie was a great surprise and I actually enjoyed it because they were smart and gave stewart a minimal amount of lines. her speech at the end is the weakest part of the film. The second will do well opening weekend and then sink unless they have a director with the same artistic vision...

Regardless of what people think of kristen, the movie itself did get some positive reviews, I mean, dont fix it if it aint broken. Look at Ghost Rider, They went a diff. direction in part2 and it sank. Same thing with Piranha 3DD, and many others, Kristen may not be everybody's fav actress, but she aint the reason most of her movies suck, its the damn story, i mean look at Nicolas Cage, he's always booking himself to whatever is thrown at him, weither the movie itself is any good or not. There are alot of actors/actresses who come out in stupid ass movies, yet most of them are top stars,

kristen has come along way, i remember her first film or at least the first time i saw her it was "panic room" that1 was great. So yea shes lil by lil starting to make more films now that twilight is over, lol So lets

@jasonkat In the end, sadly, no one went to see this first because of the director

Give the guy a break, and by that im talkin about the director, he did pretty good in the first film, let him give us part2. cause you know damn well, sum1 else will sink it.

Kristen & him need to make up again, and put their past behind them, it was a mistake, life goes on.

obviously you can't not have her in the continuing movies

she's a bad actress but she's trying and is still getting a lot of work which still mystifies me

What I hate the most is that there is about %60 of bad actors. Some of them I like, but not all.

@mbrandon11 Definitely worst actress I've ever seen, I thought she was good in Panic Room, but that was when she was a teenager, now she is a grown woman who's career is upside down, and I agree with you she has no sex appeal, I mean Snow White's plot was that Ravenna ( The Evil Queen) wanted to destroy the most beautiful woman, so that she could be the one and only beauty, if they would've choose another actress for the role, such as Emma Stone for example, then the movie would've been great, but what moron could've believe that Stewart was more beautiful than Charlize Theron!, One of the hottest woman alive! I bet Rupert Sanders cast her just to f*ck her. Sanders ruined his marriage and career, for an ugly f*cking woman. She can't Act, She Can't express herself very well, She just goes: " I'm So freaking excited, this movies is gonna be awesome" yeah sure, what She is really saying is: " I want to f*ck my director and be like Lindsay Lohan", she should be banned from Hollywood...

@instead8909 She's following on Lohan footsteps, and we all know how that turned out, right now Lohan doesn't have a cent, well Charlie Sheen gave her 100,000 dollars as a gift..

@Roberto-Mata wouldn't suprise me! That MUST be the only way she gets work. She has no talent and no sex appeal.... and not only am i not interested in her films but i am PUT OFF by her. i.e. i wouldve easily seen Snow White by now if she wasn't in it! One of the worst actresses working today without question!
