Kristin Davis has agreed to join the cast of the new comedy, Deck the Halls for Regency Enterprises. Arrested Development's Alia Shawkat (Maeby) and twins Sabrina and Kelly Aldridge have also signed on.

The three will star opposite Danny DeVito, Matthew Broderick and Kristin Chenoweth in the film that revolves around two neighbors in a small New England town who go to war when one of them decides to decorate his house for Christmas with so many lights that it will almost be visible from space. The Hollywood Reporter adds the neighborhood is turned upside down as the two families try to discover the true meaning of Christmas.

Davis will play the wife of Broderick's character, while Shawkat will play their daughter. The Aldridges (MTV's 8th & Ocean) will portray the children of DeVito and Chenoweth's characters.

John Whitesell is directing Deck the Halls; a winter holiday 2006 is set for release.
