Following the first Kung Fu Panda 3 photos that debuted last week, Youtube user Shota Kerezelidze has posted a Chinese trailer for the animated sequel, arriving in theaters January 29, 2017. Although the dialogue is in Chinese, the trailer gives us our first look at the supernatural villain in Kung Fu Panda 3, along with Po (Jack Black) and the rest of the Furious Five, Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Crane (David Cross). We also get a look at new characters such as Po's long-lost father Li (Bryan Cranston) and aspiring ribbon dancer Mei Mei (Rebel Wilson).

In 2016, one of the most successful animated franchises in the world returns with its biggest comedy adventure yet, Kung Fu Panda 3. When Po's long-lost panda father suddenly reappears, the reunited duo travels to a secret panda paradise to meet scores of hilarious new panda characters. But when the supernatural villain Kai begins to sweep across China defeating all the kung fu masters, Po must do the impossible-learn to train a village full of his fun-loving, clumsy brethren to become the ultimate band of Kung Fu Pandas! The voice cast also includes Mads Mikkelsen as the new villain Kai, Dustin Hoffman as Shifu and James Hong as Po's adopted father, Mr. Ping.

Jennifer Yuh Nelson (Kung Fu Panda 2) and Alessandro Carloni (Me and My Shadow) direct from a screenplay by Jonathan Aibel and Glenn Berger, who have written all three Kung Fu Panda movies. Since we still have a year and a half until this DreamWorks Animation sequel hits theaters, it isn't known when the first official domestic trailer will debut. While we wait for more details, check out the first international trailer for Kung Fu Panda 3.
