Nothing Compares to You: According to The Hollywood Reporter, screenwriter Larry Gross is set to write and direct Nothing Compares to You for Beverly Hills Film Studios.

Principal photography is set to begin early next year. Gross won the Waldo Salt Screenwriter's Award at this year's Sundance Film Festival for We Don't Live Here Anymore, which has been released by Warner Independent Pictures.

Gross' directing credits include episodes of the TV series "Alfred Hitchcock Presents" and "Midnight Caller" and the 1986 feature 3:15. His writing credits include "48 Hours," "Streets of Fire" and "Geronimo: An American Legend," all for director Walter Hill, as well as "True Crime" and "Crime and Punishment in Suburbia."
