The latest poster for Warner Bros.’ upcoming Harry Potter prequel-sequel (say that three times fast), Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore, puts Jude Law’s Albus Dumbledore front-and-center. Released via the official Twitter account Fantastic Beasts UK, the poster pushes main character Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) off to the side in favor of Dumbledore and thus further confirming that much of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will center on the legendary wizard.

Not only does this latest promo put the focus on Dumbledore, it also once again shows off a stunning image of Hogwarts, suggesting that much of Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will rely on more familiar elements of the Wizarding World. Even more so than that Fantastic Beasts franchise already has.

Alongside Jude Law as the younger Albus Dumbledore, the poster gives us another look at the supporting cast, including Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, Callum Turner as Theseus Scamander, Jessica Williams as Professor Eulalie "Lally" Hicks, William Nadylam as Yusuf Kama, Fiona Glascott as Minerva McGonagall, and Richard Coyle as Aberforth Dumbledore, Albus’ younger brother. These characters will make up “Team Dumbledore” and set off to do battle with the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will once again drop audiences into the wizarding world of the 1930s, and lead up to the wizard's war and their involvement in World War II. Professor Albus Dumbledore knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches, and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will go much farther and wider across the wizarding world, exploring the magical communities in Bhutan, Germany, and China in addition to previously established locations, including the United States and the United Kingdom.

The sequel will also introduce Hannibal star Mads Mikkelsen as the villainous Gellert Grindelwald. Mikkelsen takes over the role from Johnny Depp, who parted ways with Warner Bros. due to ongoing issues in his personal life. "This is obviously a more direct comparison because it's the next film. So, we have done a few bridges that will allow us to recognize it, but we've also said we have to make it our own,“ Mikkelsen explained regarding taking over the role. “I have been a fan of Johnny Depp since I saw him as a young man, and to try to bring his intensity and his way of doing it into my work is a no-go. I have to find my own, because his is unique, and I just have to let that be, and find a different path."

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is scheduled to be released on 8 April 2022 in the United Kingdom and 15 April 2022 in the United States.
