The ever-growing cast of Alan Ball's HBO vampire series has grown once more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Lauren Bowles has signed on for a role in the upcoming fourth season of True Blood.

Bowles will play Holly Cleary, a mother who applies for a job at Merlotte's, and whose eerie observations give Arlene (Carrie Preston) the creeps. It was said that she signed on to recur in five episodes in the upcoming third season and has an option to become a series regular in Season 4 as well. The character plays a major part in the Charlaine Harris novel series that the series is based on.

The third season of True Blood will debut on Sunday, June 13 at 9 PM ET on HBO. The series stars Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Sam Trammell, Ryan Kwanten, Rutina Wesley, Chris Bauer, Nelsan Ellis, William Sanderson, Jim Parrack, Carrie Preston and Alexander Skarsgård. Notable new additions this season include Joe Manganiello, Theo Alexander, Grant Bowler, Lindsay Pulsipher, Kevin Alejandro, Brit Morgan, Cooper Huckabee, J. Smith-Cameron, Denis O'Hare, Marshall Allman and Alfre Woodard.
