We reported a few weeks back that the recently-canceled series Law & Order could have a chance for a record-breaking 21st season on a cable network but it seems that isn't the case anymore. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that TNT has no interest in picking up Law & Order after its cancellation.

The network issued a brief statement which definitively revealed their lack of interest in picking up the show.

""We are not in current talks, and we are not interested in a Season 21."

It was also said that the Turner Broadcasting System which runs TNT as well as TBS holds the rerun rights to the show and have approval over any potential deal for Law & Order at other networks.

While Law & Order may be dead, the franchise will live on as NBC will air the latest installment Law & Order: Los Angeles this fall.
