Thomas Tull's Legendary East is developing the drama The Great Wall as its opening film, and has set Edward Zwick to direct the project.
Marshall Herskovitz will be writing the screenplay for the drama based on a story by Thomas Tull and Max Brooks (World War Z). Jon Jashni, Charles Roven, and Alex Gartner are set to help Thomas Tull produce the project.
According to Legendary East, The Great Wall will tell the story of the mystery behind why the Chinese decided build the massive structure.
