Earlier today, The CW Network released its midseason schedule, which revealed that the highly-anticipated spinoff DC's Legends of Tomorrow will debut on Thursday, January 21 at 8 PM ET. This means that fans will get three nights in a row of superhero shows, with The Flash airing Tuesday nights, Arrow airing Wednesday nights, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow on Thursday nights, all airing at 8 PM ET. The CW has also released a trailer DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which includes plenty of new footage.

On Thursday January 21, The CW kicks off a new night of action and adventure with the highly-anticipated series premiere of DC's Legends of Tomorrow (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT) followed by the return of the critically-acclaimed post-apocalyptic drama The 100 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT). In DC's Legends of Tomorrow, when heroes alone are not enough, the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat - one in which not only the planet is at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

DC's Legends of Tomorrow stars Victor Garber as Dr. Martin Stein, Brandon Routh as Atom, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Caity Lotz as White Canary, Ciara Renee as Hawkgirl, Falk Hentschel as Hawkman and Franz Drameh as Jay Jackson, with Dominic Purcell as Heat Wave and Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold. Based on the characters from DC Comics, DC's Legends of Tomorrow is from Bonanza Productions Inc. in association with Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Phil Klemmer, Chris Fedak and Sarah Schechter serve as executive producers. Glenn Winter directed the pilot episode, from a script by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg.

The show's main villain is the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump), who fans will get to see next week in the highly-anticipated Arrow and The Flash crossover event, which airs December 1 and December 2 on The CW. We reported in September that Stephanie Corneliussen has signed on to play the DC Comics character Valentina Vostok, a.k.a. Negative Woman, and another report from October revealed that the show is casting for Connor Hawke. In the Arrow comic books, Connor Hawke is Oliver Queen's son, although that aspect of the comics will be discarded for the TV version.

As you can see in the trailer below, Arrow characters Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) and Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) will be putting in appearances on DC's Legends of Tomorrow. We also know that current Arrow villain Damien Darhk will be crossing over to both The Flash and DC's Legends of Tomorrow, but we'll have to wait and see exactly when these crossovers may happen. Until then, take a look at the latest trailer for DC's Legends of Tomorrow, as we get closer and closer to its Thursday, January 21 premiere on The CW.
