20th Century Fox is pushing back the release of Ang Lee's Life of Pi by one week, from Dec. 14, 2012 to Dec. 21, 2012, moving out of the way of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, which is opening in theaters Dec. 14, 2012.

Relativity Media's political action-thriller Hunter Killer directed by Phillip Noyce is set to open on Dec. 21, 2012, as well as Judd Apatow's Knocked Up spinoff This Is Forty.
