Lionsgate Sets Jason Statham's ‘Safe’ for October 28

Safe to hit theaters October 28th Lionsgate set a release date for Safe starring Jason Statham for October 28.

That date sees Now and The Rum Diary opening in wide release.

In Safe, Jason Statham plays "a former elite agent who fights to rescue a 12-year-old girl." Catherine Chan plays the girl; Chris Sarandon, Robert John Burke, Reggie Lee, and Danny Hoch also star.

Boaz Yakin directed from his own screenplay.

Safe was released April 27th, 2012.
