Lisa Kudrow has joined the cast of Hotel for Dogs. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Johnny Simmons is also coming aboard this live-action DreamWorks film.

The plot is based on Lois Duncan's 1971 children's book of the same name. It follows two orphaned teenagers who hide a number of stray canines in an abandoned hotel. Emma Roberts and Don Cheadle also star in the production.

The film is slated to start in early November.
