Steve Carell is attached to star in Warner Bros.' Untitled ACME Warehouse Project, centering on the company featured in the Looney Tunes cartoon shorts.

No specific plot details have been revealed, but the Acme Corporation's products are used in the Looney Tunes shorts, most often by Wile E. Coyote, in his pursuit of the Road Runner. This movie will not focus on any of the Looney Tunes characters, and is being planned as a CGI/live-action hybrid. The project has been in development since 2010, when Dan Hageman and Kevin Hageman (The Lego Movie) sold their original pitch to Warner Bros.

Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz (X-Men: First Class) have signed on to write the screenplay, with Glenn Ficarra and John Requa in talks to direct. If a deal is finalized, the directors will reunite with Steve Carell, who starred in their 2011 romantic comedy Crazy Stupid Love. They also directed I Love You Phillip Morris and the upcoming Focus starring Will Smith.

Steve Carell will next be seen in Disney's Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz have a number of projects in various stages of development, such as Geostorm and reboots for Power Rangers, Starship Troopers and The Fall Guy.
