‘Looper’ 'Diner Face Off' Clip

Sony Pictures has released the first clip and two character posters from Looper, director Rian Johnson's mind-bending thriller set in a world where time travel exists. In 2072, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent 30 years into the past, where a hired gun awaits. Someone like Joe, who one day learns the mob wants to 'close the loop' by transporting back Joe's future self. Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars as the mafia hitman, with the looper's future self played (Bruce Willis). Take a look at this scene where Joe and Old Joe square off in a diner!

@thedude-abides@bawnian-dexeus That's because this film is going to be awesome... everything they have shown us about this film looks great! I have no worries that it is going to be really good!

@bawnian-dexeus I guess it just depends on how you look at it. I totally understand why some may disapprove. Personally, I see the fact that it looks nothing like him as being the mark of a great actor.

@thedude-abides I know I've said it wouldn't bother me or let it try, but I just don't approve of the make up for Levitt's character.

@bawnian-dexeus Haha. Yeah, man. No doubt about it. I'm just so very pleased about the reception it, along with The Master and Killing Them Softly, has received on this site. Those were the three main films I was promoting over a year ago when almost no one on here had any clue of what they were, and now it seems everyone is chomping at the bit for their respective releases. Not that I had anything to do with anyone's anticipation for those films; I'm just happy to see the level at which they're being received.
