Louis Leterrier Discusses ‘Clash of the Titans’ Remake

With The Incredible Hulk under his belt, director Louis Leterrier is taking on a task of the Titans. The French site Ecran Large has posted a new video with Leterrier and he discusses what's in store for a Clash of the Titans remake. He also dismissed rumors that the movie will be filmed similar to 300.

"It will be photo-realistic with a big budget," Leterrier said. "I want to do an homage to Ray Harryhausen. He is still alive and will be part of the film."

im pretty sure medusa is supposed to be hard on the eyes. if memory serves, her ugliness is what turns people into stone... or maybe it was the gaze, damn it i dont remember.

For once, I agree with a remake. Clash of the Titans is the type of film that would benefit from a remake, replacing those creaky old special effects of a bygone era. Films like Robocop won't be bettered by a remake, it's not THAT old, and it still stands up today (besides the ED 209 animation). However, I think this will, especially since the old master Harryhausen has a modern array of SFX gadgets to play with.

why not use that budget and talent to make something new and of itself?

She'd be good, but she needs to be someone who is a bit older and yet still looks good, you know? That's why I say Sandra Bullock, cause shes an AWESOME actress and she's still WAY HOT.

I'm thinkin someone HOT for Medusa....Bridget Marquardt? Lmao, but seriously, maybe Sandra Bullock? She'd be good as Medusa, she'd bring a little HOTNESS to the reptilian woman.

i just watched 'clash...' like 2 weekends ago, and as classic as it may be, it could totally use a facelift.

hopefully they get a good cast.
