Chloë Sevigny is rounding up the cast of Lovelace. She will portray Rebecca, a feminist journalist on freelance assignment for a men's magazine to find out who the real Linda Lovelace is.

Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman (Howl, The Celluloid Closet) will direct, from an original screenplay by Andy Bellin (Trust). A Millennium Films Production, Lovelace is produced by Heidi Jo Markel for Eclectic Pictures, Laura Rister and Jason Weinberg for Untitled Entertainment, and Jim Young for Animus Films, with executive producers Boaz Davidson, Danny Dimbort, Mark Gill, Merritt Johnson, Avi Lerner, Trevor Short and John Thompson for Nu Image/Millennium Films. The film is being made with the cooperation of the estate of Linda Lovelace.

From the birth of the sexual revolution to the height of the feminist movement, Lovelace depicts the life of Linda Boreman who as 'Linda Lovelace' became the first erotic superstar.

Amanda Seyfried will play the title role, with Peter Sarsgaard portraying Lovelace's husband, Chuck Traynor. Sevigny joins recently announced cast members Debi Mazar, Cory Hardrict, Adam Brody, Eric Roberts, Hank Azaria, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Robert Patrick, Wes Bentley, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple.

The production began shooting on location in Los Angeles on December 20, 2011.
