Kevin Connolly has signed on and Luke Wilson is in talks to join Elvis & Nixon, which marks the directorial debut of actor Cary Elwes.

Last week, we reported Eric Bana signed on to play Elvis Presley and Danny Huston will portray Richard Nixon. The story centers on their infamous 1970 meeting at the White House, after Elvis Presley wrote a six-page letter requesting permission to visit. Luke Wilson will play Sonny, a member of Elvis Presley's "Memphis Mafia," who accompanies the rock icon on his Washington D.C. visit. Kevin Connolly is set to portray a limo driver named Ronnie.

Cary Elwes will direct Elvis & Nixon from a screenplay he co-wrote with Joe Sagal and Hanala Sagal, with Holly Wiersma and Michael Benaroya producing.

Production will begin this coming January in Louisiana.
