Mackenzie Davis, Nicholas Braun and Josh Fadem are in talks to join Sony Pictures' horror-comedy The Kitchen Sink. The Amazing Spider-Man's Chris Zylka is also being looked at for a key role.

The project, described as being in the same vein as Zombieland, centers on two young teens who put together a team of vampires and zombies to take down an alien army. Jonah Hill was originally planning on starring in the film, but it appears he has lost interest.

Robbie Pickering will be directing from a Black List script by Oren Uziel. Matthew Tolmach is producing.

Mackenzie Davis most recently appeared in Drake Doremus' Sundance drama Breathe In. Nicholas Braun starred in Kevin Smith's Red State and had supporting roles in The Perks of Being a Wallflower and The Watch.

Production is slated to begin this summer.
